YMCA of the Northwoods presents annual Teen Character awards
"The evening was filled with inspiration and promise as we honored a group of exceptional young men and women from Oneida, Vilas, Forest, and Lincoln counties," YMCA of the Northwoods officials said in a press release announcing this year's honorees. "The recipients of this award are living examples of strong moral character, leadership, and service. They are dedicated to strengthening their families, schools and communities. We are proud of the 2023 honorees and look forward to seeing them shine as they move forward with their journeys."
The night's program, with all the teen's stories, is available online at www.ymcaofthenorthwoods.org.
In addition, a Y Teen Character Scholarship, made possible by Matt and Stephanie Steingraber, was awarded to McKenna Nash.
In the release, the YMCA of the Northwoods expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the organizations and people who supported this amazing event:
