In recognition of teachers
Recognizing that parents are a child's first teacher and applauding them for entrusting their offspring in continuing their growth and development with the staff in the schools, we all join in saying thanks and gratitude to teachers. We as a community should work to always be in partnership with these people. Support and communicate with them. Pay them the respect they deserve.
The week of May 8-12 is designated as Teacher Appreciation Week. We wish to recognize all who have chosen the career of teaching. Teaching careers are active, engaging, challenging and fulfilling. As leaders, teachers provide the tools to develop our next generation of doers, leaders, thinkers and problem solvers. Teachers are tasked with helping their students to become a better version of themselves and developing the ability to find empowerment in their lives in whatever path they may pursue.
In working with the younger generation, passions, interests, perspectives, and broader life skills are exposed and can be nurtured. We recognize that educators express feelings in this field as being challenging and overwhelming but that you rise and rebound with positive feelings of inspiration, motivation and acknowledgement because you care.
We support you every day. As you encourage your students, we encourage you to stay amazing.
Thanks for all you do.
