He will be sorely missed.
Robin is preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Tony Motel and his grandparents, Emma and Ernie Weber and Andrew and Verona Motel. He is survived by his sisters, Sally Wolfe, Jill Skubal (Ed), and Lynn Smith (Tim); brother, Dan and his nieces, Jane, Jody, Jennifer, and Courtney; great-niece and nephews, Janie, Joseph, and Andrew as well as countless extended family members and friends.
Robin loved making everyone laugh. A 1967 graduate of Rhinelander High School, Robin was a huge Wisconsin sports fan, following the Green Bay Packers, Brewers, Badgers and Bucks and enjoyed all types of music including classic rock. Reading was also one of his favorite things to do. Robin also loved to travel to different parts of the country, living in many states. Chicago was a favorite destination.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.
The visitation for Robin will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Hildebrand Funeral Home, from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. memorial service. Chaplain John Uhlarik will officiate.
Immediately following the service, there will be a procession to Forest Home Cemetery for the committal service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hildebrand Funeral Home & Cremation Specialists, 24 E. Davenport Street, Rhinelander, Wisconsin 54501, 715-365-4343. Everyone is invited to sign the guestbook or leave an online condolence at www.hildebrandrussfh.com.
