Barbara Elaine Raske

Barbara Elaine Raske, age 77, of Rhinelander, died on July 8, 2023, at the Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff. She was born on Feb. 24, 1946, in Rhinelander, the daughter of Ronald and Minnie (Bowman) Hall. She was a lifelong resident of Rhinelander.

Barbara attended schools here, graduating from Rhinelander High School in 1964. On July 7, 1979 she married Frank Raske and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Richard and Douglas Hall. 

Barbara was employed as a school bus driver for Bowen's Bus Service for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed dancing and cooking. For many years she looked forward to spending the winter in Arizona.

She loved her cat Precious and more than anything on earth she cherished the time spent time with her granddaughter, Misty.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Tracy Smith, her granddaughter Misty (Steve Schader) Smith, her great-grandson Silas Schader, her special friend Bernard Fulayter and his sons Joe and John, other family and friends.
