NWLT invites the public to participate in guided snowshoe hike
According to NWLT outreach coordinator Troy Walter, "this 31-acre property donated in 2022 has a nice network of trails and encompasses over 1,000 feet of shoreline along an unnamed bog lake. This property is also open for the public to enjoy."
Participants will be snowshoeing on the network of trails for approximately one mile. Participants need to bring their own snowshoes.
To register for the event, contact the NWLT office at 715-479-2490 or email [email protected] by Tuesday, Feb. 7. Space is limited.
Directions to Tower Nibiiwan Conservation Area from Eagle River: take Highway 17 south for 5.8 miles. Turn east onto Ripco Road and continue 0.6 miles. Turn south onto Arbutus Drive and continue 0.5 miles. Park along Arbutus Drive near the intersection with Saari Point Drive.
