Jaron Childs' In The Pines concert March 4 at Nicolet College
"His unique sound combines indie folk sensibilities and early American fingerstyle guitar," Nicolet Theatre and Events Services manager Mike Effinger said in a press release announcing the concert.
"Jaron is such a witty and talented individual and I'm sure his In the Pines concert will be an enjoyable and memorable event for everyone," Effinger noted. "During the evening Jaron will share his songs, poems, and art, as well as his thoughts on how landscape and natural systems inspire his work."
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at nicoletlive.com. Beer, wine, and concessions will be available for purchase beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Lakeside Center.
The performance is part of the Nicolet Live! Locally Grown series, which began 20 years ago as a way to showcase the talents of local artists and is the first time back since the pandemic.
"Jaron fits in perfectly with the style and feel that was envisioned for the Locally Grown series and we are absolutely delighted to have Jaron as part of the lineup," Effinger said.
