The A team was led by eighth-graders Vivian Lamers and Ella Miljevich, who finished first and second in the all-around. Lamers took first on floor exercise and vault, and was third on both balance beam and uneven bars. Miljevich was tops on bars and second on balance beam for the Hodags. Eighth grader Samantha Aschenbrenner took first on balance beam. Eighth grader Karly Gillingham was third on both floor and balance beam and seventh-grader Addison Fish was fourth on uneven bars.
On the B team, Payton Walentowski was third in the all-around and Marcades Williams took fourth. Individual, Ruby Plamann won both the vault and the balance beam, Williams was second on the beam and Alexis Smith completed a top-three sweep on beam for the team. Walentowski added a fourth-place finish on beam and Williams was fourth on uneven bars.
"Vault was a highlight for B team with every girl scoring in the nines," Hodag gymnastics coach Kristina Aschenbrenner said. "Our A team took first in each event, with Vivian, Samantha and Ella taking honors. All girls put in strong performances and have improved so much since the beginning of the season."
