Taste of Chocolate underway in downtown Rhinelander
The 2023 Downtown Rhinelander Inc. (DRI) Taste of Chocolate fundraising event, sponsored by Nicolet National Bank, is underway. Visit participating downtown businesses to purchase a $5 chocolate bar and support DRI and local businesses.
"This is a large fundraiser for our Downtown organization," said Lauren Sackett, DRI representative and chamber director. "Visit our local businesses, purchase chocolate bars for family and friends and support your local businesses."
DRI partnered with the Fun Factory Sweet Shoppe to produce 10 specialty chocolate bar flavors that will be sold in participating businesses for $5.
"In addition to getting a delicious chocolate bar, you could be an instant winner! Each chocolate bar will have ticket that could be a winner of Downtown Bucks ranging from $5 to $100 or coupons from various businesses," according to a press release announcing the event. "Only 2,000 chocolate bars will be sold and over half of the tickets are instant winners. Plus, be on the lookout for a Golden Ticket! There are only 10 chocolate bars that have Golden Tickets and if you are a lucky enough to find one, you are entered into the Grand Prize drawing for $500 in Downtown Bucks."
The grand prize drawing will take place on Feb. 14 live on Facebook. Customers can purchase as many chocolate bars from as many businesses as they would like in their quest to find a golden ticket.
Chocolate bars will remain on sale until Feb. 14, while supplies last. A list of participating businesses can be found on the Downtown Rhinelander Inc. Facebook page.
