A song for the School Board

Julia Gerdes performs a song from the School District of Rhinelander’s recent production of “Beauty and the Beast” for the district’s board of education at the beginning of the Monday, Dec. 18 meeting. Gerdes played “Belle” in the production. Chloe Felde, who portrayed “Mrs. Potts,” also performed for the board. Both vocalists were accompanied by board member, and former long-time high school music teacher, Mary Peterson on the piano. The drama department is planning to produce another musical in the spring, department advisers told the board.
