Dahl Automotive acquires dealerships in Rhinelander

Dahl Automotive, a family-owned auto group spanning five generations, has announced it has acquired a Honda dealership and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM dealership in Rhinelander from Kocourek Automotive.

The new dealership names are Dahl Honda Rhinelander and Dahl Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Rhinelander. 

Dahl also purchased dealerships in Stevens Point from Kocourek. Those stores will be called Dahl Honda Stevens Point and Dahl Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Stevens Point.

Kocourek Automotive will continue to operate its dealerships in Wausau, which are not included in the transaction, according to a press release announcing the acquisitions.

With the acquisitions, Dahl enters the central and northcentral Wisconsin markets, adds two more Honda stores to its current Honda dealership in Onalaska, and reintroduces the Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM brands back to its portfolio. 

According to the release, the Dahl family had Chrysler dealerships from the 1940s-1970s out of state. The Dahl Automotive group has now grown to 10 dealerships in total in Minnesota and Wisconsin, representing 13 brands and employing 525 team members.
