Trig’s and Ace Hardware complete remodel; Caribou Coffee opens in Riverwalk Centre

The Riverwalk Centre mall in Rhinelander has a new look as T.A. Solberg Co., Inc. has unveiled its newly remodeled Trig’s grocery store, Ace Hardware store and new full-service Caribou Coffee Café.

The remodel of the Rhinelander Trig’s store included a refresh and expansion of the entire store with special focus on the fresh departments, such as produce, meat, deli and bakery, according to T.A. Solberg Co. press release.

A Northwoods Gourmet Snack Co. snack bar is now located inside deli, producing fresh popcorn and cotton candy daily. 

“We think guests are really going to enjoy our new deli department, with the vast offerings of meats and salads, plus all of the grab and go options, gourmet cheeses and charcuterie, easy to shop, and just in time for the holidays,” said Don Theisen, store director. 

A new, convenient beverage center was added outside Cellar 70. Inside Cellar 70, new and efficient cooler doors were installed for an expansive craft beer section, the release states. 

A new selection of wine and spirits for connoisseurs and collectors alike, is located right outside the new walk-in humidor, Garfield’s Cigar Box.   

The entire store also received new lighting, flooring, and Northwoods-themed décor.  A new service meat case is still on the way and is expected to be complete in January.

A new full-service Caribou Coffee Café, operated by T.A. Solberg Co., Inc., also opened last week, just outside Trig’s in the Riverwalk Centre Mall.  T.A. Solberg had operated a “We Proudly Brew” Caribou Coffee program out of the Floral and Home department for the past several years and is excited to bring the new full-service Caribou Café and expanded offerings to Rhinelander, the release states.

“Caribou Coffee is a global premium coffeehouse, and Panera Brands company,” the release states. “The coffeehouse will deliver high-quality hand-crafted beverages. Guests can delight in the handcrafted drinks using real ingredients, like real chocolate, vanilla, caramel and whipped cream. Caribou also offers alternatives for non-coffee drinkers, including teas and Caribou BOUsted beverages made with caffeine from coffee plus guarana and ginseng. Additionally, guests can find delicious offerings from Caribou’s food menu, including a variety of breakfast sandwiches, baked goods and snacks.”

Trig’s Ace Hardware store,  anchoring the other end of the Riverwalk Centre Mall, also underwent an extensive remodel and is celebrating with extensive giveaways and sales now through Christmas. Guests can expect to find a full line of Milwaukee Tool, EGO, and Stihl ranging from household models through larger commercial items, the release states. An expansive grilling section features Big Green Egg, Traeger, Weber and more.
