Happy & Healthy for the Holidays Dec. 15

ArtStart, in collaboration with the Oneida County Human Service Center, will host Happy & Healthy for the Holidays on December 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. at ArtStart, 68 S. Stevens Street, Rhinelander.

Happy & Healthy for the Holidays is a free event for the entire community. Guests will enjoy a light meal, non-alcoholic beverages, create holiday cards, while enjoying live music from Bobby Bullet Frank “Anakwad” Montano. 

Doors will open at 3:30 p.m., with activities beginning at 4 p.m. and the concert at 5 p.m.

“We know the holidays can be extra stressful and difficult. Some community members are sitting at home alone. We also know there are not a lot of spaces where people can access social opportunities (nightlife, etc.) without drugs (alcohol included) being present,” Ashley McLaughlin, programs and operations director at ArtStart, explained. “We are offering a safe space where community members can gather and make connections this holiday season in a drug free environment.”

No ticket is required, but registration is highly encouraged and can be done at artstartrhinelander.org or by calling 715-362-4328.
