4-Hers plan December holiday gathering

The Northwoods Explorers 4-H Club will be gathering for a holiday party from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Rhinelander.

All youth in grades K-12 (public, private, homeschool) are welcome to attend monthly 4-H club gatherings. 4-H is free to join anytime.

At the club’s November gathering, youth club members voted to have a holiday party as part of their December gathering. The gathering will include a cookie and treat exchange, an appetizer/snack potluck, youth-led games, and holiday card making for community residents. In lieu of a White Elephant gift exchange, club members voted to instead bring an item to be gifted to nursing home residents or an item to be donated to the food pantry.
