Demmer Library announces December events
The Demmer Memorial Library in Three Lakes has announced its December programming.
Story Hour is a free program for young children and their caregivers. “Join us on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. in the Demmer Maple Room,” the library stated in a press release. “Children will listen to stories, engage in music and movement, explore different art mediums and more.”
There will be no story hour Dec. 26.
Are you a Lego master? Stop in to the Demmer Library from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11 for Lego Club. All ages are encouraged to attend and can participate in a Lego challenge, free build, or play creationary.
Do you write poetry, short stories, novels, or children’s stories? Join fellow writers at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14 in the Demmer Maple Room. The Demmer Writing Group is for writers to share their works with each other, receive feedback, and encourage one another. No previous writing experience is necessary.
Want to wrap presents without the kids around? Stop by the Demmer in the month of December and use the gift wrapping supplies in the Tamarack room for free. Gift wrap, tape, and scissors are all supplied for you for an easy holiday season.
