Vicki L. Kramer

Vicki L. Kramer, 68 passed away Monday evening, Nov. 13, 2023 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. Vicki was born Sept. 13, 1955 in Rhinelander. She was the daughter of the late Vernon and Barbara (Payette) Smith.

She graduated from Rhinelander High School, and obtained two degrees from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. One degree in English and one in Psychology. Her marriage to John Kramer took place on May 22, 1976 in Rhinelander. After their marriage the couple moved to the Junction City area. Her husband John survives.

Vicki worked for the Stevens Point School System driving school bus for over 30 years. In her free time, she loved gardening, both vegetable and flowers. She had two greenhouses and could not wait to start her growing once spring arrived.

Survivors include her husband John, her mother Barbara Smith of Rhinelander, her brother Craig Smith of Havanah, Ill., and two sisters Jean (Bill) Gray of Rhinelander and Meg (Scott) Lawery of Scottsdale, Ariz. Further survived by her three sisters in laws; Marcia (Bob) Murray and Terese Grobe both of Rhinelander and Mary Kay McIlquhams of Chippewa Falls, and three brother in laws: Matt Kramer of Anchorage, Alaska, Mark Kramer of Virginia and Luke (Kathleen ) Kramer of Rhinelander. She was preceded in death by her father Vernon Smith.
