Girls’ tennis: Rhinelander 0-3, Bay Port Invite

The Rhinelander High School girls’ tennis team dropped all three of its matches Tuesday in the season-opening Bay Port Invite. 

Rhinelander lost to Altoona and Mukwonago 7-0 and fell 6-1 to Appleton North. Rhinelander’s lone individual win came at No. 3 doubles where Kelsey Winter and Willow Mutter prevailed in a match tiebreaker over Appleton North’s Olivia Caravella and Sophia Guttormsen, 7-5, 2-6, 10-5. 

The Hodags (0-3, 0-0 Great Northern) will host a quadrangular meet on Friday.
