Hodags take downtown

Rhinelander High School graduates spanning many decades will fill Brown and Davenport streets Saturday as RUHS and RHS attendees take over their town for the annual all-class reunion.

“We expect classes from 8 decades to fill the streets,” shared Dave Heck, president of the Hodag Schools Foundation, which organizes the event, said in a press release. “It’s just amazing to see.”

“HSF hosts this event each year thanks to the support of a single donor and have been amazed at the response and attendance,” Heck added. “Even a little bit of drizzle last year didn’t dampen spirits.”

The intersection of Brown and Davenport will be tented for the festivities, as it has been in the past. 

Two live bands will perform. 

Six Pack Sammy will take the stage at 4 p.m. and Deja Vue will follow from 7 to 11 p.m. 

Downtown business establishments will have food and beverages available. Tables and chairs will be set up under and around the tented area, but attendees are encouraged to bring additional seating, especially if they’d like to set up groups a little farther away from the music.
