The Rhinelander High School volleyball team held the final two of their allotted five contact days for the summer July 25 and 26 at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium.
The team had some help on those days, courtesy of college-level players and the Wausau-based Wisconsin Ice Volleyball Club.
“Summer’s been good, open gyms and lifting three days a week and then, with our five contact days we had really good numbers for all five of those,” Hodag volleyball coach Dan Wolter said. “We’ve been around 40 girls for each one of the contact days. That was promising.”
