Kids Fishing Day Aug. 8 in Minocqua

All kids are invited to come out and fish on Kids Fishing Day in Minocqua, Tuesday, Aug. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The fishing outing will take place on Minocqua’s public fishing pier off of East Park Avenue, parallel to the bridge.

Kids who attend will learn the basics of fishing, rules and regulations, fish identification and knot tying. There will be live bait provided and it is free for all kids. There will be limited equipment provided as well.
