Paul was born in Rhinelander on Aug. 5, 1978, the son of Patricia Dalka. He was raised in Rhinelander and attended Rhinelander schools. Paul eventually moved to St. Paul, Minnesota.
Surviving is his mother, Patricia Dalka (Al Mancl) of Rhinelander, sister, Michelle (Edwin) Pratz of Georgia, brothers, Patrick (Jen) Dalka of Rhinelander and Robert (Abby) Dalka of Rhinelander, his partner, Jeffrey, aunts and uncles, Barbara (Eugene), Thomas (Stephanie), Dennis (Annette), Richard, Gregory (Dawn), Audrey, Gary (Lynne), and George (Lisa), and his four-legged companion, Onyx.
Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Rose Dalka, aunt Margaret, uncle Frank, aunt Kathy, and cousins, Lisa and Aaron.
Paul was kindhearted and always helped others. His gift to all was his ability to make everyone always laugh with his sense of humor and finding the silver lining in any situation.
The visitation for Paul will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Hildebrand Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the noon funeral service. Chaplain John Uhlarik will officiate.
Interment will take place at 4 p.m. at the St. Augustine Cemetery in Harrison.
