Y Holding Annual Spring Plant Sale
The YMCA of the Northwoods' Older Adult department is holding its annual spring plant sale. "Beautiful 12-inch pansy containers can be ordered for $21 and come in a variety of colors. A luscious 12-inch spring arrangement is also $21 and contains a variety of plants that will bloom all summer long. A variety container of herbs can be purchased for $18 and six succulent plants for $20," the Y stated in a press release. Forth Floral will be providing the plants for this fundraiser that supports older adults who want to remain active and healthy. Plant orders and payment must be received by April 25. Plant pick up will be outside at the Y on Wednesday, May 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in time for Mother's Day. Plants can be ordered online at www.ymcaofthenorthwoods.org or by calling 715-362-9622.
