Gloria married the love of her life, Otto Bauman, on Oct. 31, 1953, in Rhinelander. God blessed them with nearly 65 years of marriage and three loving daughters before Otto preceded her in death on July 16, 2018. Gloria worshipped her Lord and Savior as a longtime member of the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church.
Gloria's family always came first in her life. In the spare time she had she enjoyed sewing, decorating for Christmas and was known as the Queen of accent lighting. She and Otto never missed the Country Fest and together they enjoyed their membership in TOPS Wisconsin 0751.
Gloria is survived by her daughters Rose (Tom) Yulga, Judy (Ted) Fisher and Anne (Bruce) Cline, her grandchildren Keith Yulga, Kevin (Jessi) Yulga, Stephanie (Chris) Yulga-Harrel, Heather (James) Dickinson, Jason Fisher, Amanda (Dan) Chojnacki and Zachary Cline, her great grandchildren Andrew, Ellie, Cooper, Ayden, Tenley, Brynley, Trevor, Laurelle, Archer, Fredrick and Clayton, her sister Nancy Wickham, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her parents, her sister Virginia Cady and her brother Ron Spengler.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. Father Chris Kemp will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery. You may leave your private condolences for the Bauman family at www.carlsonfh.com.
