The ABC donated more than $15,000 toward the project.
"We were very excited to help the Diamond Club see this project through," ABC president Brandon Karaba said. "Kids of all ages for both baseball and softball will be able to use it and it further enhances the baseball fields that are there."
Rhinelander High School baseball coach Joe Waksmonski added, "The high school baseball program is excited for the generous donation from the ABC towards the batting cage project at Hodag Park. All levels of baseball and softball players and parents will now have a top notch public batting cage facility to use for their enjoyment and skill improvement."
The grant brought the ABC's charitable donations to Rhinelander High School and youth sports programs to more than $365,000 since 2002.
"This donation is more than just from the ABC, it's really from the whole community," Karaba said. "No way could we make such a large donation without their incredible support."
