Mike was raised in Milwaukee until 1973 when his family moved to the Northwoods. In 1982 he graduated from Rhinelander High School. He then attended Northcentral Technical College in Wausau enrolling in the Automotive Tech program. He worked along side his father in his transmission shop called Fairway Service. Mike was later employed with Bauman T.V. as a television repairman until 1993. For the past 29 years he has been employed at Value Auto retiring in June of 2022 due to his health. Michael was united in marriage on Feb. 13, 1993, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He enjoyed working on electronics and enjoyed model railroading especially HO Scale trains.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Michele, three children, Amanda (William) Ewan, Michael J. Anderson Jr., and Holly Anderson, all of Rhinelander; seven grandchildren, Alexa, Bella, Liam, Haylee, Axel, Myah, and Bentley; siblings, Susanne (Erik) Whitesides of Eagle River, four brothers-in-law, Gary Sheldon, Steve Sheldon, Bob Sheldon, and Michael Sheldon (Robin Potter), all of Rhinelander. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Janette Anderson, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bruce and Shirley Sheldon.
A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions in honor of Mike may be given to his family in care of Michele Anderson, 3395 S. Faust Lake Road, Rhinelander, Wisconsin, 54501.
