She was a longtime and devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Gloria loved working as a teacher's aid at three different schools, West Side Elementary, Newbold Elementary, and lastly Crescent Elementary. The children at these schools kept her young.
Gloria then transitioned to working at the Pioneer Park Historical Museum, where she enjoyed interacting with many people. She learned all she could about the one-room schoolhouse when she worked there, in order to pass on her knowledge to visitors. She did this when she worked in the CCC building, and the main building with the gift shop, and the train depot.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to donate to any children's organization because Mom really had a heart for children.
The visitation for Gloria will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 320 Lincoln Street, Rhinelander from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service. Rev. Rod Ankrom will officiate.
Immediately following the service, the family cordially invites everyone to join them in the church hall for a luncheon and fellowship.
