Jill was born in Milwaukee, on March 14, 1953, to Ross W. and Betty M. (Scherbarth) Breitzman. She was raised in Wauwatosa until the family moved to Minocqua. She attended Lakeland area schools until 1969 when her family moved to Rhinelander. Jill graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1971 and continued her education at Nicolet College.
Jill was an excellent pianist, accompanying many fellow students at state solo and ensembles.
Jill enjoyed playing the accordion with her dad. She had a beautiful voice and performed in many Nicolet College plays, including lead in the musical "Cole".
Jill was a typist/transcriptionist for many years and had been employed at Harland Check Printers in New Berlin, medical records at Peterson Health & Rehab and for many years at the Oneida County Department of Social Services. Jill enjoyed music, the Packers and most of all loved her family and would do whatever she could for them.
Jill is survived by her husband, Buzzy (Edwin) Mode; sons Scott and Raymond (Abby) of Richfield, Minn.; daughter Megan (Brandon Brooks) of Rhinelander, grandchildren, Mason, Ada, Ira and Quinn. Also surviving are her brother Scott Breitzman, dear friends Jane Sorenson, Marilyn (Kleist) Carraway, Juli Bradaseric, Sue Schanes and Caryl Gironimi; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents, Buzzy's parents, Raymond and Phyllis (Obey) Mode; sister-in-law Louise (Weezy) Breitzman and brother-in-law Ray Mode.
At Jill's request, she will be cremated. A celebration of Jill's life will take place on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at the Pine Lake Town Hall, located at 4197 River Road, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Inurnment will be at Northland Memorial Park.

Jill studied the Bible every day and there is no doubt in Buzzy's and the family's mind that she is now looking down on them. She will be deeply missed.
