RHS alum Martin named first-team All-WIAC
Martin was one of four players to earn first-team nods for special teams contributions. He had four tackles on the season. In a game against UW-Eau Claire Oct. 8, Martin blocked one punt and recovered a loose ball on another blocked punt.
Martin, who finished his career at No. 2 all-time on Rhinelander career rushing list, saw limited action out of the backfield this year, with two rushes for eight yards and eight receptions for 62 yards.
Whitewater (8-3) won its 39th conference championship this fall and lost Saturday 33-28 to Aurora University in the first round of the NCAA Division III playoffs. Martin caught his second touchdown pass of the season in the contest.
