The Hodags were given the fourth seed in the four-team Division 3 bracket and will face top-seeded Notre Dame Academy in the state semifinals Friday afternoon.
The game will be played at 4:30 p.m. at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.
Rhinelander (11-2-6) advanced to the state tournament with a penalty kick win over Rice Lake on Friday night. The Hodags will face a Tritons team that was ranked No. 1 in the final Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Division 3 poll, which was released Oct. 18. Notre Dame (18-0-4) defeated Plymouth in overtime 2-1 in a sectional final on Saturday.
New Berlin Eisenhower (15-4-2), No. 2 in the WSCA poll, received the second seed and will face seventh-ranked Wisconsin Dells (18-1-0) in the other state semifinal.
Notre Dame is making its third straight state tournament appearance and 11th trip overall. The Tritons were state runners-up in Division 3 last year and in Division 2 in the alternate fall season of the 2020-21 school year. New Berlin Eisenhower is making its third trip to state, and first since 2018. Wisconsin Dells, like Rhinelander, is making its first trip to state.
