Sandra was born on August 26, 1947, in Tomahawk, to Everett and Wilma Williams of Harshaw. Sandra attended schools in Harshaw and Newbold. She married Gilbert Dankmeyer in May of 1986, and they celebrated 25 years together. Sandra was employed at the Rhinelander Café. She and Gil enjoyed going to and having booths at flee markets in the Northwoods. Sandra enjoyed fishing, watching TV, especially "Ice Road Truckers" and listening to country western music.
She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Darlene Rivas of Rhinelander, and Sherry (William) Tischendorf of Harshaw. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Gilbert Dankmeyer.
The visitation for Sandra will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the Hildebrand Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the noon memorial service. Chaplain John Uhlarik will officiate.
