After his schooling Dennis went to work with his Dad in their commercial painting business, Moritz Painting. Dennis became owner and operator of Moritz Painting and ran the business until his retirement. Dennis worked hard and was a respected painter in the Rhinelander area.
Dennis loved spending time with his family, enjoyed reading, had a great appreciation for music, had a soft spot for animals and had an infectious sense of humor. He was a lifelong member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
In 1972 he married the love of his life, the former Sherry Sasanas. God blessed them with nearly 50 years of marriage and their two children.
Dennis is survived by his wife Sherry, his daughter Nicole (Erick) Wellnitz, his son Chad (Megan) Moritz, his grandchildren Jackson and Kendall Moritz, sisters Judy Lundin and Christi (Richard) Foster, niece Courtney (Ross) Wyman, nephew Korey (Martha) Lundin, grand-niece Natalie, grand-nephew Ethan Wyman, other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents John and Elsie Paremski and his brother-in-law Glenn Lundin.
Visitation for Dennis will be from 10 a.m. to noon, with funeral services following at noon on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the Carlson Funeral Home.
