Ayleen grew up and attended schools in Milwaukee, where she graduated from West Division High School in 1966. Two years after graduating from high school she married Quentin Martin in Milwaukee, on Dec. 28, 1968 in a big snowstorm. Ayleen started her career at Blue Cross in Milwaukee but then decided with Quentin to move to Rhinelander in 1979. Soon after moving to Rhinelander, Ayleen started working for the State of Wisconsin in the Vocational Rehabilitation Department where she was employed until 2009 due to her retirement.
Ayleen loved to shop and decorate and those usually went hand in hand. Whether it was the yard or the house she took pride in both. Ayleen loved her family most of all and enjoyed spending time with all of them.
Ayleen is survived by her husband Quentin, daughter Stacy (Mark) McBride of Fox Lake, grandchildren Mikayla, Cherek, and Deirdra; great-grandchildren Owen, Kaeden, Taeya, Michael, and Izabella; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her son David, and brother, Francis.
A family service will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date for Ayleen. You may leave your private condolences for the Martin family at www.carlsonfh.com.
