The Rhinelander Ice Association's Peewee Hockey team placed third in a Peewee A/B tournament held Feb. 25-27 at the Rhinelander Ice Arena. The Hodags defeated Sheboygan and lost to Janesville in pool play and won the third-place game over Washington County, 4-2.
Rhinelander figure skaters compete at Badger State Games
Members of the Rhinelander Figure Skating club competed at Badger State Games Jan. 27-30 in Mosinee. Pictured, from left to right with their medals are: Harmony Gomez (2 golds), Abigail Swenson (gold, bronze), Karlie Yunkers (gold, silver), Lindsey Hoerchler, Sadie Jones (gold, 2 silver), Callie Hoerchler (silver, bronze), Claire Yunkers (silver) and Cassidy Leseberg (bronze).
