She was born in Rhinelander June 8, 1948, to Donald M. and Margaret (Belong) Bellile. She was raised in Rhinelander and in 1966 graduated from Rhinelander High School. In 1975 Susan graduated with a degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Washington. She lived in Washington from 2003 until 2021 but had also lived in California and Illinois. It was a joke on how many times Susan moved.
"She enjoyed playing cards with friends, was an avid Packers fan, enjoyed acting in plays, and in her younger years loved to roller skate. She had a sense of adventure, was a free spirit, and lived life to the fullest even when her health wasn't the greatest."
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Melora (Keith) Rouse of Woodinville, Wash.; two grandchildren, Sophie Rouse and Sam Rouse and a sister-in-law, Kathy of Virginia. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers, Larry Bellile and Brian Bellile.
A Celebration of Susan's Life will take place at a later date.
