Students had the opportunity to compete in a variety of events for FCCLA including culinary, interior design, and child care. Students that receive 80 or above on their evaluation proceed on to state competition April 4-6 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
Rhinelander brought five members to regionals including three competitors - Madison Helke (baked goods and pastries), Izabella Otteson (culinary arts) and Reese Gehrig (focus on children) - and two students as event helpers - Jordan Opsal and Hailey Skubal. All three competitors scored over 90 points, receiving gold, and will be moving on to state.
