Rita loved the outdoors and spent many hours in her garden tending to the plants and many hours in her kitchen cooking the fruits of her labor. She also loved to knit. At any time you could find her with a pair of mittens or a scarf in her hands putting on the final touches. If her children or grandchildren didn't need them, they were usually donated to the St. Mary's bazaar. Above all else, Rita loved her family and the time she got to spend with them.
Rita is survived by her two daughters Cindy (David) Kaechele, Lori A Heise, and son Jeffrey Heise. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mathilda Damask, father, Hubert Damask, husband, Keith and son, John T Heise.
