Walter "Pete" Rolain
Pete will be remembered as a man who had a sweet tooth and who loved company, fishing, hunting and watching sports. He took great pride in his home and garden. His family and friends will also remember him as a man set in his ways, but for all the best reasons. He was grateful for all the people who assisted him when he needed it.
Pete is survived by his children, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, his sisters Betty Callahan, Lois Lukarich, Barbara Stevens, Karen Franke and Nancy (Edwin) Kuehn, his brothers Donald Rolain and Richard (Marilyn) Rolain, many nieces and nephews, all of Elaine's family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his son Steven, his parents and his brothers Robert, Darrell and Raymond.
Visitation for Pete will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Carlson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Forest Home Cemetery. After committal services at the cemetery there will be a further celebration in honor of Pete at Brokers, on Lincoln Street in Rhinelander.
