Rhinelander Fourth of July Parade to include F-16 flyover
According to the press release, the flyover will be made by F-16s assigned to the Air National Guard's 148th Fighter Wing, based in Duluth, Minn.
"The 148th flies the Block 50 F-16CM, the most capable F-16 in the U.S. Air Force fleet," the release states. "Currently, the 148th Fighter Wing has over 350 personnel deployed overseas to Southwest Asia and the Horn of Africa in support of Central Command and Africa Command missions. All 1,000 Bulldogs from the 148th Fighter Wing wish you a safe and happy Independence Day."
The F-16 Flyover was made possible through the efforts of the Veterans Ceremony - U.G.C. Inc.

This year's parade theme is: "Rally Around the Flag."
The kiddie parade will start at 10 a.m. with the main parade to follow at 11 a.m. The parade starts at the police station on Frederick Street, heads south on Brown Street and continues on to Courtney Street before ending on Rives Street.
