Rhinelander ABC awards $10K in grants to YMCA
"On behalf of the ABC, this donation was a long time coming," ABC president Brandon Karaba stated. "The YMCA has done so much for this community and it's youth, once we were approached about the donation and how it will expand their current youth programs...it was a no-brainer. We, the ABC, are very excited to help!"
"We appreciate the support from our Rhinelander Athletic Booster Club," said YMCA associate executive director Stephanie Dahlquist. "Their support of youth programs through our Capital Campaign will further our commitment to promote healthy living and nurture the potential of our youth. We look forward to creating new youth programs and build upon our existing programs with the funds from Rhinelander ABC."
With the donation, the Rhinelander ABC surpassed $350,000 in grants it has award to community sports programs since 2002.
