The biggest project for the 2021-2022 Residential Construction class was building a three-stall garage at Crescent Elementary School.

Argonne Lumber in Rhinelander and Wickman Construction owners John Buglass and Chad Johnson provided material and instructional support throughout various phases of the project, according to a School District of Rhinelander press release.

In the release, the student crew expressed their gratitude for the material and instructional support as well as the logistical support of Jeff Zdroik and the SDR maintenance staff.

Without their logistical support this project would not have been completed, the release states.

"I'm proud of the crew for completing this project, largely over the winter months. Like any area contractors we faced weather or supply chain issues that were beyond our control. But that didn't get in the way of building a solidly built structure that will serve the school for many years," said course instructor Wil Losch.

Residential Construction is a senior-only course at RHS that serves as a capstone experience for students that have completed the Engineering Materials and Light Construction courses.
