In addition to his wife, other survivors include his two daughters, Angie (Mark) Merrin and Jenny (Ryan) McQuillen; four grandchildren, Eleanor, Sylvia, Amelia, and Claire; two sisters, Bonnie (John) Weidner and Barb (Randy) Behnke; and one brother-in-law, Larry Davis.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Dennis; and one sister, Sue Davis.
Bob proudly served in the United States Navy. When he left the service, he attended Madison Business College, receiving a Bachelors in Accounting. He began his career at Edward Kraemer & Sons before moving to Ohio to serve as a System Programmer Analyst at Kokosing Construction until his retirement in 2012. When he wasn't working, Bob enjoyed spending time serving as a proud member of the Delaware AMVETS and VFW as well as the Mount Vernon AMVETS. In his free time he enjoyed golfing and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers. He especially loved spending time in the northwoods of Wisconsin on an annual trip with extended family for 40 years, where he will be greatly missed.
A private service to honor Bob's life will be held at a later date. The Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center is honored to serve the Bloomquist family.
