Gloria and Wilbur lived in Antigo until moving to Rhinelander in 1963 where she has lived since. She worked for Forth Floral in Rhinelander for over 47 years and was a member of the St. Joseph's/Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church for nearly 60 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing needlework.
Gloria's greatest joy came from her family. She was an avid sports fan who never missed a game or event that her grandchildren participated in.
Gloria is survived by her daughter Mona (Charles) Macdonald, her grandchildren David (Jessica) Macdonald, Ross (Zoe') Macdonald and Meg Macdonald, her great-grandchildren Jace and Bree, nieces, nephews, her special friends Joe and Mary Ellen, other family and many friends. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Mary and Cindy and her brothers Darrell, Lynn and Gene.
Visitation for Gloria will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at noon on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. Father Chris Kemp will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery. You may leave your private condolences for the Petroskey family at www.carlsonfh.com.
