Susan Sarah (Cowan) Greenwood moved on to a better place Jan. 18 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. True to her Scot-Irish spirit she fought until the bitter end. She never really lost her beautiful self, her loving heart or her sense of humor. She was true to her soul until the end of this life and the beginning of a better existence. She still is the love of my life, my best friend and my home. I, we will miss her, and love her always. I will always be with you, my love.
She is survived by her husband David, her daughters Heather (Mark) Wogsland and Nicole (Steve) Holt, her grandchildren Erik, Boyd and Ivan, her sister Nona Beining, her brother Michael (Mary) Cowan, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer, her parents and her sister Mari Beth Slye.
Private family services will be held for Susan. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Susan's name and may be directed to her family. You may leave your private condolences for the Greenwood family at http://www.carlsonfh.com.
