David married the former Pamela Mullen on Aug. 4, 1979 at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Bundy. God blessed them with over 42 years of marriage and a wonderful family.
David worked his entire life in construction. He began working on residential projects and then moved to large commercial construction. There wasn't a project that he was afraid to tackle. In his free time, Dave loved spending time with his family. His grandkids were his pride and joy. He also lived for anything to do with hunting. whether it be sitting in a tree stand or making a drive with the gang, he loved it all.
Dave is survived by his wife Pamela (Mullen), his children Christina Engstrom, Amanda Engstrom, Jennifer (James) Kowalczyk, his son Eric (Toni) Engstrom; grandchildren Teagan, Sara, Emma, Grace, and Ava, and brothers Terry Engstrom and Allen Engstrom. Preceded by his parents, his daughter Jessica and grandson Daniel.
Visitation for David will be held on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022 from 9 to 11 a.m., with a memorial service following at 11 a.m., all at the Carlson Funeral Home.
