Susan attended schools in Sugar Camp and Three Lakes, graduating from Three Lakes High School in 1973. She met her husband Glenn in high school (high school sweethearts) and they were married on February 8, 1975 in San Diego, Calif.
Susan enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, needlepoint, her birds, board games, holidays and her hot tea which she never left home without. She loved cribbage and she would challenge anyone to a game as long as they were OK with losing. Susan's real love was for her family, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild and also loved baking for them.
Susan is survived by her daughter Sheryl Woods, son Glenn Woods, grandchildren Ashlee and Maggie Woods, great-grandchild Cassidey Sue, sister Tammy Levan, brothers Scott, Leon, Pat, Mike, Johnny, and Gary Holewinski; her sisters-in-laws, special friend Rick, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn, her parents, and her brother Robert Holewinski.
There will be a gathering for Susan at the Sugar Camp Town Hall on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You may leave your private condolences for the Woods family at www.carlsonfh.com. The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414) is handling the arrangements for the family.
