RASF continues half-court shot contest
Attendees at home games will have the opportunity to win big with the Associated Bank half-court shot. Tickets to participate will be sold by RASF and Associated Bank volunteers. At halftime two ticket holders will be selected to first try a free throw shot for $5 and then attempt a 3-point shot for $10 and then take the half-court shot for big money.
The jackpot currently sits at $335, according to an RASF Facebook post.
The half-court shot is one of many efforts by RASF to support scholarships for Rhinelander graduates. This fundraising program would be impossible without the support from Associated Bank, which provided $1,000 to fund the winnings.
"RASF has been helping students achieve their post-secondary educational goals for over 30 years," the group stated in a press release. "RASF's mission is to raise money for and contribute scholarships to Rhinelander students, many of whom may not receive scholarship support from other sources."
