Eighteenth Northwoods Youth Deer Hunting Challenge
The 2020 banquet was postponed, and was rolled in to this year's banquet.
More than 170 young hunters participated in the hunt over the two-year span, and more than 149 young hunters were in attendance at the banquet.
The Northwoods Youth Deer Hunting Challenge was developed to encourage young hunters to continue hunting into their adulthood.
We hoped that through this challenge, we would provide an opportunity for young hunters to develop a life-long hobby and a positive step towards keeping the hunting tradition alive.
The NYDHC is for young hunters that are full-time residents of Oneida, Vilas and Iron counties, ages 10- 17 (high school seniors).
