Organizers of the annual Rhinelander Turkey Trot race have announced the fundraising results of their 2021 run, held on Thanksgiving morning. The event raised $7,130, which was distributed to three local non-profits.

The Rhinelander Community Foundation's Hodag Park Improvement Fund received a donation of $4,130, while Ruby's Pantry and NAMI Northern Lakes each received $1,500, all on behalf of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

"In this season of giving, we feel extremely blessed to donate 100% of all funds raised from the 2021 Rhinelander Turkey Trot back into our local community," Rhinelander Turkey Trot race director Andy Wyss stated. "Thank you to everyone who trotted with us on Thanksgiving morning, and an extra thank you to all of our generous, community-minded race sponsors. We couldn't do it without you!"
