PHOTOS: Nordic skiing weekend at CAVOC
The club hosted the CXC Great Lakes Division Finals as well as a USCSA Midwest Conference collegiate race at the venue. The event attracted roughly 170 high-level skiers from the U10 through collegiate ranks.
Rhinelander had a handful of athletes compete in the CXC event. Brynn Teter finished 14th in Saturday's U16 5-kilometer freestyle race. Olin Slette was fourth in the U14 division in both Saturday's 2.2-kilometer freestyle and Sunday's 2.2-kilometer classic races. Austen Slette was second in U12 in both Saturday's and Sunday's races.
