Lois was born on Nov. 23, 1933, in Antigo, to Edwin and Goldie Tillman and was a 1951 graduate of Three Lakes High School. Lois married her husband, David Hibbard, on July 27, 1957 in Three Lakes, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church.
She worked at Camp Marimeta in Eagle River and as a bailiff for the Oneida County court system. Lois was instrumental in her children's upbringing and did not shy away from helping others when needed. She was a member of St. Kunegunda of Poland Catholic Church in Sugar Camp where she was a member of the church choir, Altar Society, a Eucharistic minister, CCD teacher and a member of the funeral lunch committee. Lois enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was golfing with David, gardening or just walking in the woods. Playing cards was a pastime that she enjoyed as well with family and friends. Above all, family was most important to her. One of her greatest joys was watching her children and grandchildren grow up.
Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband David, her parents and sister Marilyn Lang and brothers Duane, Raymond and Charlie Tillman. She is survived by her children: Kyle (Jayme) Hibbard of Sugar Camp, Colleen Picard of Green Bay, Kay Adams of Green Bay, Mark (Tracy) Hibbard of Green Bay, and Joel (Beth) Hibbard of De Pere. Lois and David laid the foundation for a great family including 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Lois also has numerous nieces; nephews; other family; and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022 at St. Kunegunda of Poland Catholic Church in Sugar Camp. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. at the Church.
