Bea married Duane Brenton on March 4, 1950 and God blessed them with over 60 years of marriage and four children that they loved dearly.
Bea was all about people and feeding them. She really enjoyed Thanksgiving because it covered both of her passions, food and family. They all knew that they would not leave Bea's house hungry. She also loved working with her hands and the soil, whether it be gardening, her flowers or working at the potato fields Agricultural Research Station. She enjoyed passing her wisdom for all of these things, including canning, onto her loved ones. She had a weakness for yard sales and craft shows but never bought anything for herself, always for someone else.
Beatrice is survived by her children Amy (Pat) Huber, Kerry (Carrie) Brenton and Greg (Dawn) Brenton, her 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Duane on Dec. 16, 2010 , her daughter Deb Brenton, her granddaughter Tina and sisters and brothers.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., with services following at 11 a.m., on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at the Carlson Funeral Home. You may leave your private condolences for the Brenton family at www.carlsonfh.com.
